1. Lisa as a married woman you are now required to contribute at the adult level.
This made me snort.
I'd tell Marney to keep her Thanksgiving dinner, I'm going to Boston Market BY MYSELF!

Personally, I like making it all myself.
Oh. My. God. Let me tell you, if that was my family member, she would be getting exactly opposite of what she 'required'.
Life is good today.

OR two regulation sized dishes. We can re-fill as needed. No tin foil.

Yep. I would bring a normal lid, like one of those pyrex ones? That didn't go with the chafer.

I want to know what a regulation size dish is. I have several sizes of Pyrex dishes.
I've never been to a big Thanksgiving dinner. It's just my parents, me, my brother, and now FI. Mom and I make all the food, but we don't do anything elaborate.
There was the one year where I didn't have time to make the pie filling, so I said I'd just do the spices. When the pie was served, it didn't taste right. Neither of us had added sugar! (I don't consider sugar to be a spice, but I guess my mom did.)
I haz a planning bio
