mini-moon ideas for Austin, TX?

FI and I can't afford to go on an all out honeymoon just yet, so we are thinking of planning a mini-moon (1-3 days) here in Austin.

Anyone have any ideas on a nice (but reasonably priced) hotel? If any of you had or are planning a mini-moon in Austin I would love to hear what you did/are doing!

Thanks!

we might be doing that and have looked into the hyatt lost pines in bastrop. they have a whole bunch of activities you can do, a spa and it seems very relaxing. maybe look into that?

We went to Lakeway Inn. It's so incredibly beautiful and the pool is fantastic. We pretty much slept by the pool the whole time. We found a deal online, so it wasn't too pricey for the weekend.

How about the new Vineyards at Florence? I visited them as a venue option. Super beautiful. They have very nice villa's - and it is just far enough away to feel like a honeymoon - or even a Salado - I looked at several cute B&B's there.

How about a bed and breakfast like the Austin Inn? You can even reserve a private hot tub and massages if you would like.

I would say stay at a B&B or a downtown hotel, and just act like you are on vacation. Do touristy things like musuems and restaurants and watch the bats fly.
