Anacapri--Coral Gables Rehersal Dinner

We've decided on having our rehersal dinner at Anacapri...we absolutely love the food, location is perfect and they have a private room.  Problem is we (I) don't really like the decor of the private room...I think it looks a little run down.  The actual restaurant looks great, and we could have our dinner there, but then we wouldn't have a private area. 

Have any of you had or been to Anacapri for a private event?  Did you decorate the space?  I was thinking of doing something to decorate, but everyone is telling me not to spend money on it.  Any thoughts?

    I was thinking of getting table runners to add to their white linens and I also  bought 10 hurricanes and glass cylinders of different heights to place on the tables.  They all either have a gold leafed base or have a gold leaf ring around the top of the cylinder.  The tables are long rectangles and we will have 3 of them placed in a U shape.

    Home Goods...They were very inexpensive...between $7-10 each.
