Its Tuesday. The lamest day of the week (IMO). Its pretty much like Monday to me.
So, I had a dream last night that my brother & I were in the Hunger Games. I was good with the knife & he was good with the bow. Random! I havent watched that movie in a while, so IDK where that dream came from.
I shut off my alarm this morning and didnt reset it, as I sometimes do. This made me wake up at 816am. I have to leave my house at 830am. I didnt even have enough time to get any coffee ready. Thank goodness there is coffee in my office. Although, I cannot wait for lunch time to go across the street to Tim Hortons.
Anyway, I have a random question...how can I get wrinkles out of clothes without an iron? I dont have one (I put a nice one on my registry) but I do have a dryer. I thought that if you put them in the dryer on "fluff" that would help. But, it doesnt. They come out with the same amount of wrinkles.
Re: Tuesday woes
You can also try just hanging them up in a steaming bathroom and then pull/tug and smooth out the wrinkles.
Also, with the dryer, I find that it does help to get rid of wrinkles but I can only put in maybe 3 pieces of clothing. You need to give the clothes a lot of room in the dryer for them to not come out wrinkly.
Finally, when you do dry clothes don't wait to take them out of the dryer, instead as soon as the dryer goes off pull the clothes out and fold/hang them. This should prevent any wrinkles.
Edit: And about your dream I have random dreams like that all the time. Like I wake up and think, "what? why the heck did I just dream about that!?" And just last night my H talked in his sleep and said "what you upset about bro?" I can only wonder what that dream was about LOL!
Do you have a steam option? That's really all you need to get them out.
Both my work computers are broken. The charging cord is broken on one and the VGA port is broken on the other so I can't show my students the presentation I prepared.
AT&T network seems to be down so my phone isn't working.
And our central copying center forgot a page on the student handouts.
So yeah not a fun day. Going to have to bring things back to the stone ages today.
My Tuesday woe is that I am stuck at work while an incredibly huge and fantastic parade and rally is happening right now down in Baltimore to welcome home our Super Bowl Champs! And I can't even stream it live on my computer because my work has tried to block anything and everything that could be remotely fun on our computers. Hopefully they don't wise up and block TK then I really would go bat crap crazy without anything to do.
[QUOTE]I love my steamer for getting out wrinkles. I haven't used an iron in ages. To avoid wirnkles though I just take my clothes out immediately when the dryer finishes and then lay them out/hang them up. It's a bit bothersome if you're in the middle of doing something when the dryer finishes but definitely worth it. I<strong> didn't know there were Tim Hortons in the US! I thought we canucks had the monopoly on that :)

I pass 3 different Tim Hortons on my way to work....and it only takes me like 20 mins to get to work. Its crazy! They are everywhere in Erie.

Hahahaha. I know the feeling. Between TK, Amazon & FB, my days at work are a little better. If my manager blocked them, I would go crazy!
[QUOTE]<strong>Maggie, I read the part of your woe with the super fantastic fun parade and thought, "wth silly, you are bad at woeing"</strong> then I read the rest and you're right, that does suck. My woe is that I'm vacuuming at the play school I take the girl I watch to today. Last time I did it, it was horrible. The little girl is afraid of the vacuum, so when other people do it we tend to go to the bathroom or outside where she can't hear it, but when I'm the one doing the vacuuming and she has to stay away from me, she clearly thinks it is unacceptable. Last time she had a major melt down, and I ended up having to carry her and sing to her louder than the vacuum. It took three times longer than it normally would. I am not looking forward to it.

Hahaha, yeah, but that is a major woe today when you are a die hard Ravens fan to miss out on something so amazing as the return of our champs!
And I am in no way comparing my dog to a child, but that my dog is ridicuously afraid of our vacuum. Every time I pull it out her eyes get huge and she runs down into our basement which isn't finished thus no vacuuming needed and stays there for hours after I am done. I try to tell her that if she stopped shedding like crazy we wouldn't have to vacuum all the time to catch the fur balls floating around the house.
I have never heard of a kid being afraid of a vacuum but I could see the noise being quite overwhelming when they are little.
[QUOTE]Maggie, WJZ should be streaming it. That's primarily a news site, so maybe it won't be blocked?

I'll give it a whirl. My work stinks and blocks everything, it is ridiculous.

<div>Glad you found it! I used to work at the Sun, which blocks nothing, and then Hopkins, which blocks a fair amount, but there are always ways around things :)</div><div>

</div><div>The stadium is nuts! I have to leave in a minute to drop DD off with the sitter and the players aren't even there yet!</div>
And sorry to hear you're missing the party, Maggie! If the Eagles EVER win a superbowl, I'm so taking a vacation or something. I was cheering for Joe Flacco since he registered at my work and is a local guy.

<div>I think they're mostly in the north east, and they're a "Coffee and Bake shop". We passed one in NYC and took a picture. I totally wanted to go in for a Hot Chocolate, my favorite, but it was August and about 40+ degrees. Way too hot out. :(</div><div>
</div><div>No Tuesday woes for me. Actually had a pretty good day, so I can't complain yet</div><div>
