Hi Ladies,
So I fit my first MAJOR bumb in the road as far as the wedding plans are going. MY DRESS. So here it is: The bridal shop ( in stl) took my mesasuments, showed me the venus bridal measurment chart and we ordered teh size that said would be big on me by a couple inches here and there. So the dess finally came in after three months, and it will not zip up, as in its too small....now Mind you I DID NOT gain any weight and the bridal store even took my measuments again to make sure i did not gain weight. So they sent the dress back. THe repressentative on the phone even said " well yes according to her measuments this dress we sent you should be big on her" OK so the dress in sent back and now 3 week later the co. finally sent it back to the bridal shop. VENUS Bridal is saying that the fabric was cut correctly and I am stuck with that dress. WHAT!??? there is no way that a 26 hip can fit into what you cut to be a 23 size hip or whatever. So thankfullify the bridal store agrees that this is a crock of sh** and they are paying for the alterations on...which shouldnt even need to be done...so I have to go this week for a seamstress to look at it on me and see if it can even be taken out enough to zip up....but i am just wanring you VENUS bridals is giving us hell over this issue.
ANd here i am 5 months out from my wedding without a dress. and now its getting to the point where its too late to even order one, so I dont knwo what I am going to do. Anyways if you are thinking of buying a VENUS dress maybe think again or maybe get two sizes to big instead of just one size to big like i did.
