North NJ Vintage-style photography

I'm looking for a photographer (and videographer) who are really good with vintage photography. I know that's more of an editing thing these days and relatively easy for most to do but, there's definitely a skill curve, and I don't want to end up with randomly snapped pictures.  
I'm hopeless at my photography terminology, but I love 8mm film and my baby pics (80s baby), especially the polaroids. So I guess I'm going for a lot of pics with a late 70s, early 80s look. When looking through photographer's websites I love the warm and creamy vintage fade effects I'm seeing - but, I'm not seeing that many in Northern New Jersey!! Seems more about getting rich colors and high contrast in the NYC area.
Any brides here that went vintage that can recommend me photographers in North NJ??

    You should definitely look at Lifting the Veil Productions at veilproductions.com. Their style is unique and beautiful - I absolutely love their editing style and I think you would as well!
