AW: New bike!

I just have to brag a little bit: My Fi is THE BEST. This weekend he surprised me by taking me to a local bike shop to pick out a road bike so we can ride together on weekends! He told me he got an "overnight bonus" at work for all the traveling and overnight jobs he has done and is doing, and he wanted to use the bonus to get me something for putting up with all his traveling!! It is so unselfish of him...
Anyway I am SO excited about it and am so ready to ride this summer! We took it for a quick ride last night. Here's a pic:


I had the pink handle bar tape put on for a unique look :D

    That's so nice!  Have you two biked together much before?  FI and I don't really bike anymore, but now that my asthma is better under control I'm hoping we can start up again soon :)

    That is awesome! How sweet of him! I was kind of hoping it was a motorcycle but that's just how my mind works. Owning a road bike has always been a dream of mine!

    We have but I always had a really cheap and old mountain bike and he had a super nice road bike, so I was always playing catch up and trying to catch my breath :) So now we can ride longer distances together.

    Good to hear your asthma is getting better!
