Starting to Panic over venue - and its just the first decision!

I have been looking at possible venues in the NoVA area for the last 3 weeks, pretty much non-stop and can't seem to find the right place!  We want somewhere outside with an indoor reception (two locations are fine) but are trying to keep the location (without food) in the hundreds, not thousands.  Is that unreasonable??  I just can't seem to find the right place and we need to book something SOON!

I just recommended this in another post, but have you tried the Botanical Gardens? How many guests are you having? The Chrysler Museum has a garden that could be used for small weddings too.

I haven't come across any where in the hundreds, sadly. I suggest you use the vendor tool on here to gather a list of places that might be $, vs. $$ or $$$. (Click the "Local Vendors" tab above.

    Good luck!

You should contact Soheil Photograhy. We used them for our wedding and they are very knowledgeable about venues in NoVa. He is a great photographer too! http://www.soheilphotography.com/

I feel your pain girl! I'm looking for a cheaper venue in the hundreds too and I can't seem to do it.. the places I find are too far away from the church we're getting married in.. it's frustrating.. I'm getting married in bedford, va and would like to find a place close buy that doesn't break my budget. Hopefully I'll find something soon. I feel like I'm way too stressed out right now for the wedding being 7 months away.. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be open to any advise I can get. Thanks!
