How much did you pay for your engagement pictures?

Hey Ladies,

Happy Monday, Just wanted to know how much you paid for your engagement pictures. I found an up and coming photographer who does excellent work. I have seen a lot of his work, and i am just in love with it. I contacted him and he wants to charge $325.00.

Our photographer quoted us $250, but we negotiated her down so she included it for free since we're usi ng her for our wedding day.

My photographer charges $350. Since the cost usually goes up if they have to print them, we paid $100 for the session and got the photos on a disk. Then I designed STD cards and had Vista Print print them out. My total cost was about $120.

Well, our e-pics are included in the price of a wedding package... but, around here the normal rate is $200 for 1.5-2 hour session with a disc of pictures.

We paid $125 per hour which did not include prints, just the session.

Our pictures were part of our total photography packge. We paid $1500.00 for our package. Usually, $250 is the e-session price around our area including a high res cd with all the pics. (Detroit, MI)

Our epics were included in the wedding package. The package itself was 950. Although she said we could pay however much we wanted we gave her 350 for the epics. Who wants to have a whole lot of money left to pay!! We get all 700+ photos on a disk.

Our photographer charged $100. I think that's too much for epics -- I would look around for a better deal.

it was a package deal for me but I think he said $400 if just e-pics and $200 if included in wedding package. But I don't think it includes prints, cd, etc.. Again because it was all in a package, i can't trell you how much those extra cost.

mine are included in the wedding package we didn't take them yet since hubby is overseas and probably will not take them but she does a few options with her package, e-pics, day after pics (which as she explained is usually after the honeymoon in most cases) the wedding pics as well as a boudoir session.

It was included in our wedding package. And since our photog uses a credit system instead of dollar amounts. Im not sure how much it was exactly.

Our e-pics package would have cost $150 if I would have only purchased the pictures in the package. Instead I paid right at $300 because we loved so many of our pictures. Our package include a 2 hour session, online viewing, copyrights, with many size prints and portfolio as well.

I'm still trying to figure out where to get ours done. We have an appointment at Target. They offer coupons and their pics are nice. The Picture People don't charge a sitting fee but just by how many sheets you purchase. A private photographer is going to charge you a little more.
