Anyone use D. Becker photography for their wedding?  We have also looked at Eloquent Studios in Randolph who we loved.  Just trying to make a decision and any advice would be great.  Thanks!

    Did you go to meet them in person?  I was totally turned off when I met them, I felt like all they did was talk about how bad other photographers were.  I didn't appreciate the "why other photographers are bad" pitch they gave me.  I also found them a lot more expensive than others. Several friends of mine have used them and have been married for 2 & 5 years and haven't gotten albums because of the cost.  Not to mention, the house/studio smelled like dog & I'm a dog lover.  The girl I met with was kind of a b*tch too.  

    If you met them and are still asking this question, I'm sure your experience was better than mine.

    I just looked at the reviews, Callie was the one I met with.  Dennis talked to me first, then farmed me out to one of their staff photographers.

    His comment that Callie was let go doesn't help the bride that had a terrible experience- something about that just rubbed me the wrong way!

    I know people that have used him and the man isnt the nicest- I dont want to post anything mean cause thats what they told me, I didnt see him in action, but I did meet him at a bridal show and in 2 minutes of talking to him he basically told me everyone else in the room sucked, which made me dislike him. If your good, u dont need to talk down ur competition.

    We met with them and were completely turned off.  Very capable photographers, but quite arrogant.  I actually got a bit of a skeevy feeling about him; he wasn't well dressed and looked like he could have used a shower.  His packages were pricey, at the time he seemed to require a second photographer, and his albums were more expensive than some nicer ones we saw offered by other photographers.

    We ended up going with Robert Wayne Photography.  A much nicer, friendlier, more customer-service focused person, a talented photographer, very flexible with respect to packages, and he's priced right.

    I hate the very negative tone on his website.  We met with Dennis at a bridal show and were very much turned off by his personality.  His work is pretty good but not especially creative.  Nonetheless, he's one of the more prominent photographers in Sussex County and is a "recommended photographer" by many of the venues out here.  So go figure.

    We also went with Robert Wayne Photography for all the same reasons expressed by AnnandTed.  I feel like we're getting a more creative photographer, nicer albums, more flexibility, and Bob seems like he's going to be a real fun guy to work with.

    We met with both Eloquent and Becker, besides the previous mentioned we felt the work was very dated. We ended up booking CIP Studios in Chester.
