Escort Cards?

Gonna start these Escort Cards soon. But just trying to figuring some things out. Couples go on one which helps. But what if the uncle brings a girlfriend and we only know her first name? Does her name go one the escort card or just my uncles? Does the bridal table get name cards? Im assuming I dont need a name card. Love it..thanks

    I have been at weddings and the escort cards were the same as the invitation was addressed...like, "Joe Smith and Guest", for example.  Some people think that is too impersonal, but I don't recall anyone being offended at those weddings!  HTH!

    I think you should find out her last name.  It will make her feel really welcome.  I wouldn't write "and guest."

    On our rsvp cards, we added  lines on there to put all the names attending because I didnt want to label people as "guest". I have over hundred guests coming,but proably about 1/3 are guests, so I made sure people told me their guests names.I have had to call a few people however,just to get their guests full names.But I feel like if I received the honor of them to attend my special memorable day, than I need to honor them back by at least knowing their names and not labeled as Joe's guest...idk?I am a teacher, so I think it relates to my character.In my field we have been taught to address the parents and students by their proper  name,not just by labels.

    I added the line for Names on my RSVP card...It came back with only her first name. I will just have to chase down last names I guess. Actually I have 2 where the RSVP's only have first names for the guest. Why IDK...

    I don't see why "and guest" is so bad. Hey... they obviously don't know you. So why is it so bad to put "and guest"?!
