Wedding Woes

Sad

My little boy is getting too big.  He's officially out of 12 month clothes.  He says "thank you" when you hand him something.  I can hand him a whole banana and he won't choke.

He just walked over to the fridge, tried to pull on the handle, and said "milk?"  He still has a couple of inches before he can actually open anything though.

    He's a big boy.

My fav age is 5. They are so funny, and love to learn new things. I love 5.

Aw! The toddler years are just a different--more active--kind of fun.

Don't be sad! Pretty soon you can teach him to get his own breakfast and go back to sleeping in. <insert devil smiley here>

    Ha Barbie.

That has crossed my mind Bmom.  We'll need to lower the cereal. and the milk.  This is the downside of a bottom freezer and a short kid.

H used to leave a little cup of milk and a poured bowl of cereal, since he went to work at the buttcrack of dawn.

But I don't reccommend starting that until he's at least 3. Disaster can ensue. <remembering powdered sugar all over the kitchen>

12 month clothes?  Hellz. We packed those away when Dex was about 9 months old.  He's solidly into 2T now at 16m, and some 3Ts in a pinch.

But I know. It's sad.  I miss my baby Dexter.  But then he does something hysterical and goofy and laughs so hard that I can't help but laugh, too.
