Well my main goal is to lose 50 lbs. I'm going to try really really hard to keep this. I already have all my dinners planned out for January and a work-out schedule and I've set realistic weekly and monthly goals. Fingers crossed that I stick to all of this!
Mine is to loose weight too. I want to loose between 20 lbs and 30 lbs before the wedding in Nov. I have good motivation to loose it because usually I don't stick to my resolutions.
I'm onboard with Beth! I lost 35 lbs. last year and am feeling great. I've given myself the holidays off...and really haven't gained more than 5 of those back...so now i'm ready to start again and take it further.
I also want to read more. I've gotten really into the "girl with the dragon tattoo" books recently (almost done with #2) and I want to keep it going. I became a total reading slacker after college, so it's high time I get back into it. Any book suggestions?

Oh, be careful what you wish for....I LOVE to read, I have endless suggestions. What type of books do you like?

I would like to read more too! I use to read all the time, but taking 18 credits every semester gives me less time than I used to have. But hopefully I will use better time management to make sure I have time for more reading.
2. Work harder every day at work (grad school) so I can graduate by mid-2012.
3. Be more organized
4. Get in to running so I can do the Shamrock Shuffle 8k in April. The 5k I did in November made me want to keep running.
I never really make resolutions, but this year I have a lot of goals, especially with work/school, so I'm really going to try to stick to them. None are unrealistic, IMO.
I'm working on the getting healthy/losing weight thing too. I generally think it's a good idea to start small. So I've started by counting calories with an "easy" goal of .5 pounds/week. I haven't had a problem with that for a few weeks (and lost a few pounds!). So now I'm trying to lower the number of calories (setting: 1 pound/week) and gradually up the number of times exercising a week. Sometimes I think women try to do TOO much all at once, and that's overwhelming and difficult. I feel awesome about the little steps I took and I feel confident about making those next little steps!
But since I started the weight thing well before New Years... I can't have that as a resolution.
So my resolution is to take more time for ME this year. I deserve it. And I'm good company!
1- more sex! 2- maintain a 3.8 GPA or higher in school 3- better time managment so I have more time to: * read for fun * spend more time with the bf/puppy * better balance school and work 4- keep my running going 5- eat better!

I saw something on the get fit board about a web buddy system for weight loss motivation. Would anyone want to do something like that? IDK how we could manage it but I know I always work harder when I know someones watching me.

I would totally be your buddy! I want to lose about the same amount and its always good to have someone to be accountable to!
I would like to lose a little bit of weight (10-15 lbs) and just eat healthier in general. I started though before the New Year, so it's not quite a resolution. It's okay though, because I think resolutions are so hard to keep. My ultimate one would be to stop biting my nails. Every year I say I will stop but I never do.
Lose weight. Ideally for health reasons I'd like to lose about 80 lbs. So add working out more into my resolutions.
Finish my resume and find a "Big girl job."
Stop procrastinating so that I can enjoy my final semester and not be so frazzled. This will also help the whole job hunt situation.
I would LOVE to add have more sex to my resolution, but with the BF and I living apart and both of us possibly having to travel to find jobs that doesn't seem likely. For the first 5-6 months of the year anyways. So maybe my resolution will be to have a ton come June/July
I don't necessarily need to loose weight, I'd just like to redistribute it...from fat to muscle (although it doesn't work this way, it'd be nice to take from my hips and add to my boobs, LOL). Mostly, I want to lose a pant size, whatever scale weight that is, I'm fine with, I just want to look and feel better.
I also want to read more. I literally couldn't read for leisure when I was in college (between working, classes, homework, and sleep, I just didn't have time) and kept telling myself that once I was done, I would start reading more. Well...it's been almost 2 years and I've only read a few books.
- I want to get in better shape. I want to go down at least 3 sizes. - More sexy time. - Cuba time. - Get at least 6% saved for the house.

1. Make 5 resolutions (including this one) and stick to at least 2 of them besides #1. Which in essence means that I will have stuck to at least 3 out of 5 (winning odds if you ask me!) lol
2. If someone doesnt buy me a Wii for Christmas, I resolve to buy myself one and a Wii Fit and start an exercise regime that I will stick to! (I think BF is buying me one)
3. In anticipation of my new NOOKcolor, I resolve to read 2 books per month, one of which will be some kind of self-improvement book. (yea right - I'll be lucky if I read 1 a month) -- UPDATE: Joined the NEY Book Club on Good Reads... so, I"ll be keeping this one!
4. Pay off the rest of my debts by March and start saving a LARGE chunk of money every month and develop a plan for moving out before the end of the year.
5. Delete 10 more people from my FB that I don't want to see crowding up my wall with their senseless drivel. (This one should be EASY!!) UPDATE: I'm desperately trying to hold out until after New Years for this one but I have the 10 I want to delete already! lol
6. (One for good luck?) Read the first Harry Potter book to see what all the fuss is about!! LOL (This one is for you, Elle!)
I'm hopefully going back to school next month after almost three years out. Only to a community college for now, but my resolution is to do fantastic in everything. To make up for my past slacking and prove to myself that I don't suck at life. And also to find a new job. My current one sucks.
I want to lose weight like the rest of you. This is my resolution every year, but I really want to do it. With all the life events that are to come I want to be in my best shape possible, so why not start now.
I want to get a new car. My car is awful and falling apart. I know what I want too, so I just have to save and get it.
I want a "big girl" job. I want to strive to do the best and get the best job that I can do with my acquired skills. I want to make sure that I am putting my degree to good use because of all the time and money I spent on it.
I want to move in with BF. I want to really start getting our lives together and establish ourselves. We need to start thinking long term. I also believe that if we move in together then I won't want to get married so quickly. (Weird logic I know but somehow I think it will work.) And that will lead to more sex which is good too!
1. lose about 10 lbs and get back down to where i was pre-engagement. 2. stress less, relax more... and stop all the stress eating! 3. get brave enough to converse in spanish instead of just listen in to FI's family. 4. exercise 3 times a week consistently. 5. try 1 new recipe a week.
I'm instituting "Date Night's" with the BF. I get Spotlight e-mails from Open Table. You pay $25 for a $50 gift certificate. I ordered one for Saturday night. So, I think I'm going to tell him that once a month we are going to try another restaurant.
I guess it's part of a resolution to broaden my horizons...
