We did it!

We went and applied for our marriage license this morning. Of coures i forgot to bring the officiant information with me. I almost cried but the lady told me to call her with the information once i got to the office. Of course i couldnt remember it all, right?

23 days to go. I cannot believe it. Both FI and I just want to be married already.

    Yay!!! congrats... We pick ours up on Wednesday next week.  Made it such a reality to see my new name on an official document!!!!!

    They wanted his name and phone number. I knew his first name but his last name is long and odd and i could not FOR THE LIFE of me remember it. And of course i just had him saved in my phone by his first name. My bridal brain has gone to MUSH.

    Also just called the car insurance company to discuss combining policies and found out we can save about $490/year. Anything is better than nothing, right?! :)

    We go next week and I'm ready for that to be handled.  It is one of the more important checks haha and you can't do it until right before.  Great check!

    Yay! We need to do that yet, although in Ontario you literally walk in, apply and get it on the spot so we're plannin gon doing that the Sept 1st weekend

    We didn't need officiant info for our license, but every state is different. I did my happy dance in the register of deed office when we got ours and all the ladies laughed at me. Couldn't help it though -- I was VERY happy!!! : ) Congrats on getting yours! Definitely a huge milestone!

    Same thing happened to me, I was like oh no.  But I filed his e-mails under officiant so everything worked out and I didn't have to go back, and we got our license.
