KC GTG

Looks like a happy hour on April 15th got the most votes on the poll.  Post below if you'd be able to attend that day and also give some suggestions for locations!

Even though I've lived in KC for two and a half years, I still don't have any idea where any fun place to meet is... I'm up for a fun new location :) Let's hear 'em!!

I haven't any idea where we could go (I've only lived here a few short years and I don't know much about the area still), but I do have some good news, there's a slight possibility that I may be able to join you ladies after all! I put my 2 weeks notice in at my current job and I was hired on at Walgreens as a pharmacy tech, which means I'm going back to flexible hours and shifts. I may end up getting lucky with this day off. :)

I can most likely make it! Even though I haven't really been posting all that much lately it would still be fun to meet up! I can even offer "old married lady" advice, since at that point I'll have been married for a whole 6 months. ;p

I always like the Plaza area for meetups, because it's close to the central part of town. There you have a couple good options:

    1) Tomfooleries - definitely casual, but GREAT food and drink specials, and their happy hour runs until 7
    2) Melting Pot - little more on the expensive side but not bad ($5 pp for cheese/chocolate fondues, and then $5 martinis), but they only go until 6
    3) Cheesecake Factory - I have yet to go there for happy hour but my friends say it's good?

Houlihan's is also a good option for happy hour meetups, and there's one not far from the Plaza in Fairway.

I'm really new here, but I would love to meet up! I'm just getting started on this whole wedding thing, and it's totally overwhelming!

Hmm... money is super tight for me right now so unfortunately I think i'm gonna have to back out after all. :/ We just got hit with a bunch of extremely high bills all at once, and we still have to pay for our wedding. This month we're playing the "Can you purchase a week's worth of groceries with less than 50 dollars" game every week. This sucks, I really wanted to go! :(
