Looking for a discount or amateur photographer...

Hello!  I wonder if any of you can offer me some help. 

I am disabled.  Due to my limited finances, money is really an issue.  I have been creative in many areas of my wedding and so far things are going great.  I had a friend lined up to do my photography.  She is an amateur but takes fabulous photos.  Unfortunately due to a family illness she had to back out.

I live in the eastern area of Pennsylvania but north near the Poconos.  Does anyone know a professional or a great amateur photographer that you can recommend?

    post on your local board and you'll have better luck finding someone in your area

    Do you live near a college or University that offers a photography program? Since school is going back I would maybe try to get in contact with one of the professors teaching a photography class to see if they could get some students that may be interested in building up some more of their portfolio.

    I'm not sure of your exact budget but I know this company is running 7 hours of photography with print rights for $550. I'm sure they'd be willing to make a package to suit your needs and budget. HTH

    I was in a wedding that this company did pictures for and the pictures that the bride got back were very disappointing.

    She is wonderful! Shot my engagement session in NYC (where we live) and is shooting my October 2011 wedding in NEPA (where I grew up).

    We are thrilled with the results of our engagement shoot and know the wedding pics will be just as great.

    Hello! I recommend www.mabelphotos.com she is from NYC and she is fabulous. She will travel to PA at no extra cost. Her fixed wedding rate is $1,000. It includes a free engagement session.She recently did a destination wedding for my BFF.
