So I need a rather unique bridal necklace since my dress is more plain with no bling. Any ideas where I can look? I've tried Etsy which has some nice things but I want to use that as last resort and try local first.

If you're in York, there are a handful of local artists that can create custom jewelry to fit with your dress however you like. For example, Natural Forms in Silver did a great job on my engagement ring! She might be able to create the perfect necklace depending on what you're looking for.
