Parent Gift Ideas - Need Suggestions!

FI's parents will be hosting the Rehearsal dinner for us, and that is when we plan to hand out gift to the bridemaids and groomsmen. Technically both sets of parents will be getting a parent album as a gift, which was included in our photography package, but I would like to give them both something to open at the time of the dinner so they don't feel left out ...... Any suggestions of what to get??

    We're doing the same as you and giving our mom's hankerchiefs and still trying to figure out the dads because we want everyone to open something.

    I'm giving my parents a gift certificate for a b&b close to their house. Figure they can use a relaxing night away just as much as I will need one!

    My dad is hard to shop for, but I got him personalized cufflinks on Etsy that say "Daddy walk me down the aisle" and the other said the time and date.  He will obviously never wear them again but he loved the sentiment and had the photographer take pictures of them.

    I got his mom a handkerchief from Etsy with one of those not losing a son, gaining a daughter sayings.  I think she enjoyed it as a keepsake.

    I got my mom an unrelated necklace because I knew she was all set for the day and she'd appreciate a gift she would wear normally.

    Etsy is great when you don't know what you want.

    We found a sketch artist where if you give him a photo, he'll sketch it for you and put it in a nice frame. So I'm having him sketch a picture of the house I grew up in to give to my parents. 

    For my fiance's parents- he's the youngest of 4 boys and the last to get married. One of my friends is an amateur photographer and has a nice camera. So I'm just going to have him take a picture of all 8 of us and then I'm going to have it put on a canvas picture. Another idea I had for my future in laws is to make a "family-tree" and put it in a frame. I saw a cute one on redenvelope.com That website has a lot of cute personalized things.

    We're doing broadway show and dinner in nyc gift certificates for both sets of parents. The album will be their xmas gift since it takes awhile to come in.
