Sooo I believe I have seen many people post on here about this website, but I wanted to see what you all thought of the site or had any recommendations for the best places to buy items. If you did could you post what you bought and if you remember who. I am looking for a variety of things and trying to get ideas. Also do you suggest paypal or credit? I am thinking paypal, but others have said credit is fine too.

If you look in my bio i ordered cute color books from there, I recently just got my bouquet charm today no picture yet, I bought a cute wallet for my self off there too. I personally like to use paypal. For some reason I just dont like putting in my credit card number.

I actually got all of my flowers there (my bouquet, bridesmaids, boutenneirs (sp?) & mom flowers). It was a very good experience!

I don't know if it varys seller to seller, but I was able to use my bank card without issue.

80 percent of my wedding items were purchased on Etsy. I had most of them custom made. Our guestbook is a custom painting of a tree. I had a keepsake and throw garter made for me. Ribbon wands for exiting in my colors. I found my graphic designer on Etsy. She has designed all my invites, stationery, graphics for tags and welcome bags, envelopes, and thank you cards. My cake topper was made for us from there. It's us as bobble heads with FI holding his guitar and me holding our cat. I had a cute cat topper made initially, but changed my mind. I buy off of etsy all.the.time for things wedding related and not. I'm also a seller on etsy.

I prefer paypal because I have it linked directly to my bank account, but I've used my CC and never had an issue. The worst thing that has ever happened is that I was shipped the wrong order, got to keep that order and was overnighted my correct order the next day.

We purchased our save the date stamp and our RSVP stamp on Etsy. I loved our STD stamp and was very happy with it, however, I am having some issues with our RSVP seller. I'm hoping it turns out okay.

I got a banner that we used in our Save the Date photo and the seller is named BannerLUV. I was very happy with her.

I'm also currently talking with a girl who designs clutches: loliscreations and at least in the beginning stages she is very nice and responsive.

Overall I'm very happy with Etsy and will continue to use the site. I also prefer paypal, it just seems safer for whatever reason.

I adore Etsy -- I get all kinds of things there! I haven't gotten much for the wedding (a couple things are in my bio), but I have plans to buy some coming up! I've ordered a lot of gifts in the past though and I've always been very pleased. It's an awesome site!
