Reception Hall Help

Hello- I'm recently engaged and in a little bit of a rush to book of I want to hve a wedding next summer. Can anyone give me info avout the Venetian Yacht cClub or the Woodbury Country club? I looked at Bridgeview and loved it but thy couldn't accommodate me and also the Chateau la mer but I didn't like it at all (probably the only person who has even thought that lol). I'd love to have somewhere on the water and my budget is 90-110 pp. Thanks in advance!

    <div>The decor mainly.  Just wasn't my style.  I felt a little bit of a weird vibe from the BM who showed us around.  Also, I couldn't have the upstairs room, so right away I knew I didn't want it there.  I can see why people love it there- it did get the best of Long Island afterall.  Just wasn't feeling it.  Congrats to you and enjoy <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif" border="0" alt="Laughing" title="Laughing" /></div>

    I vote woodbury cc. Didn't like chateau la mer, Venetian has no grounds just a parking lot yes it's on the water but it's not pretty outside the inside is nice but the outside could use some work. Bridge view is nice but have u ever been on the Barnum isle wharf on a fri or sat night? Madness. Wouldn't want to expose my guests to that. IMO of course

    We booked our wedding at the Venetian yacht club, for next summer. I thought that for the price, they offered a TON of food (which everyone I talk to says is delicious.) I loved the water view out of the glass windows, the lighting that came with with room, and the people. They offered a nice package too so I would definitly recommend them and I think we are going to be happy there. Let me know what you decide to do. :) Good luck

    I also vote Woodbury CC. I am getting married there this September. The grounds are beautiful.  And they do an awesome cocktail hour outside by the pool.

    I went with the VYC- next summer as well!  I'm really excited and I know it's going to be great from everything I hear.  I had an appt to look at the WCC, but since I couldn't get the Venentian off my mind (and heard that the WCC was a wedding factory), I cancelled.  COuldn't be happier!

    I am getting married there June 2013 on a saturday.. Great prices!!!! I beleive it was around 110$ person maybe little more with tax
