Budget wedding/reception venue for 60-70

I'm looking for a venue to have both our ceremony and reception. We're having a somewhat smaller (relatively speaking) get-together, with guests from as far as France, so I would prefer to have it somewhere closer to the city if at all possible. We're likely going to have a Sunday ceremony later in the summer, but are not looking to get married in a church or a park, as the weather can be a little dicey. We're trying to keep the total budget of the wedding around $10,000; we're willing to splurge just a little bit on the venue but don't want to break the bank. Does anyone have any good recommendations?

I highly reccomend EM Fine Art Gallery. I am having my wedding there next summer and the place is amazing. They only recently started using it as a wedding venue so their "introductory pricing" is $1500 (that was for a saturday though so Sunday may be cheaper). It is near lake union on Dexter Ave.

if you're wanting to stay in seattle consider the lake union cafe
they can do both the cerimony and reception, and they dont even charge for the venue since you're using their food! (and it's great food) check them out. It will be in your price range.

The Mount Baker community club is beautiful and very inexpensive-however you have to provide everything-catering/linens/etc...all they have is a ballroom, a kitchen, and tables and chairs (banquet and round).

    Good luck!

You would actually fit pretty well into the Golden Gardens Bath house - a venue I love but our group was too big for.

Another one I was obsessed with but we wouldn't fit was Sole Repair. Depends on the look you're going for but I thought this place was really cool. http://www.solerepairshop.com/index.html

Send me a PM with your email address, though, and I'll send you my venue spreadsheet.
