Willowdale Estate, Topsfield

Has anyone been married here while it's raining?  I'm aware of their top-quality tent, but still wonder if wind is loud or if the garden floods.  Are there any options to move dinner inside, even if tables are separated throughout the rooms?  I love this venue, but am worried a bad day could ruin the experience and be a waste of money.  Any testimonials would be appreciated!

    You might have better luck on your local board :-) 

    I've heard some wedding horror stories involving tents and rain, so I'm planning on having a solid indoor rain-option.  I'm also very anti-tent (I'm in the military, and have lived in many lage tents, and have some aversions to using one for a wedding...), but that's just me :-)

    I looked at this venue for my wedding and there is an indoor option if you have under a certain amount of guests.  You have to ask them what that number is.

    I think with the way that the concrette floor is pitched, that if it does rain, the rain will run off the edges and not pool into the middle of the floor.  And since the sides can come down you should be fine.  You shouldnt be able to hear the rain over the music anyway.
