i need help!

When FI was in Iraq last year, their ASUs were all stored at household goods and when they got back, his somehow got wet and moldy. They gave him some money to replace them however now, 8 months later, he still hasn't gotten new ones. He has been going in for the past months to order and reorder them but everytime they say they will be there in 2 weeks, but never are.

He wants to wear them for the wedding in August but frankly he is getting rather discouraged. I don't know what to do.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

    I'm not sure what to do about his discouragement but I wouldn't stop trying to get them and I'd be requesting to take the issue up with a manager because there's clearly some disfunction on their end and that is a required uniform for him to have.

    Yeah I would take that up with the manager. Does he not have to wear them often? The Army did away with the green uniform about a year ago and the new one is basically just like the dress blues. looks like it me anyway. The reason I ask is because H has to wear his for Change of Command, pay day activities, serving Thanksgiving dinner and other things. When home he wears them at least twice a month.

    Alright, I will tell him to talk to a manager. He never has to wear them I guess. I'm noy sure, it is weird.

    I would go look into your equivalent of "the airman attic." It's where people who are getting discharged or moving go and drop off things that they no longer need or don't want to pack up. If he is E-4 or less he can get the stuff for free now no guaranties that they will have what he needs and if he is okay with pre used uniforms. If you dont have one I would work it up his change of comand. They might not do things for him but when they have someone higher up yelling at them things seam to move a lot faster.
