I LOST MY VEIL! :(

It happened sometime during the move from my apartment to my FI's house... We've cleaned out my apartment and checked the house probably 5 times each. I don't see the bag I remember putting it in... UGH.

So I have two options: 1) Try to find a salon that has a veil that goes with my dress in stock or 2) Go without.

  • Oh no! I'm so sorry :( I would go to the store and give it a shot, you never know!

  • Aww what a bummer!  I bet it'll turn up sometime (after the wedding, of course).  Have you thought about ordering off etsy and having them ship it quickly?

  • Oh, no!  I'm so sorry that happened to you.  I say try to find a replacement, as long as it's within your budget.
  • Depending on your budget, Nina has beautiful veils. You can get them on their website or nordstroms. Hope this helps.
  • I'm sorry...are you done unpacking? It could be somewhere unusual.

  • Oh no! I bet it's in a box somewhere. This happened when we moved. I "lost" the preservation box for my gown. I looked everywhere for it. Finally, I realized we had put things in the camper and there it was. I would keep looking, but in the mean time, see if you can find one at a local salon. You have some time left to get one if you can't find yours. Just take a deep breath and start combing through boxes and bags. Moving cam be stressful and hectic. I am sure you will find it.

    Good luck!

    this.

I lost one of the hand crocheted shawls I made for a "groomswoman" (my FSIL) and was in panic mode. I finally started looking in unexpected places and it turned up in a storage bin of Christmas decorations (I had finished it the week I packed up the christmas stuff and that's where it ended up).

This is actually my back up plan if I don't find anything in the store that is a reasonable price. I found a simple two-tier length veil for around $50 that will definitely work.

We've unpacked all the boxes... So I have no idea where it could be. I even looked in random places (the kitchen). Part of me is wondering if it got thrown away because I think it was the only thing in the bag from the salon. It was still in the plastic, so it probably kind of looked it it was bag full of trash lol.

I'm going to go my wedding bags one more time, but after that, I'll have to come up with a back up plan. The wedding is too close to just wait for the veil to show up.
