  Hands down Signature Room if those are the 2 you are deciding on.  The Crystal Gardens is not 100% private.....we went to a wedding there, and random people were walking in and around the whole time.  It was totally bizarre.
  
  Not to mention the views at the SR!!

  We're having our rehearsal dinner at the Signature Room so that's my vote.  The views with all the lights at night are just incredible.  Also, if you're having your wedding on a Saturday night, you basically have the best view of the Navy Pier fireworks in the entire city!

  You can get the entire Crystal Gardens to yourself if you have over a certain number of people - I think it's like 350 or something.  So if you're having a huge wedding, that would be my vote.  If it's going to be smaller, I'd definitely go Signature Room.

  Signature Room. I went to a wedding at the Crystal Gardens last summer and it was awful. The ceremony was in the corner outside with the beautiful views, which was beautiful. But it is also right next to the Ferris wheel and carousel so there were children screaming so you couldn't hear the vows.
  
  The reception was in the Crystal Gardens and it was not private. They put up some dividers but the tourists were watching us eat like animals at the zoo. It was awful. The food was good as were the drinks but I would not recommend it as a reception location.

  I have eaten at the Signature Room (not for a wedding) and was not impressed with the quality of the food. The views were lovely though!
