  Sounds ridiculous to me.  All the RDs I've been to have immediately followed the rehearsal.

  I've never seen anyone do this for the rehearsal... I've never seen it done at a wedding either.

  that just sounds like someone wanting to wear lots of different outfits, or like the industry trying to convince us to spend mroe money. i've def never heard of it/seen it done.

  I guess  maybe for brides whom are having their rehearsals early in the day and then their dinners much later. But I can't fathom doing this! Even if that were the case, I'd wear comfy clothes for the rehearsal, and then a nice dress for the dinner. Thank you all for confirming that I'm NOT crazy.
