I missed giving my intro...opps sorry

hi ladies,
my name is jess and i will be getting married to my fi in june 2012, 3 days before our 2 year dating anniversary.  i love my fi more than anything and SO happy we found each other.  im kinda shy so i am trying to step outside of the box here lol...so if there is anything you wanna know you just ask.  after awhile i can talk your ear off :)

    Wow, we're busy this weekend! :) Hi Jess! Don't worry about just now giving your intro, it's not a requirement or anything. It is, however, super fun meeting new people here! Anyway, do you have a venue? Color scheme? What do you do for fun? Do you like Funfetti cake?

    Yes! Sami told me and I am completely obsessed with that idea! I made the Funfetti fudge the other day and it came out sooo goood! We are probably going to use that for the dessert table. Oh, and OP, we MIGHT side eye you if you don't like funfetti. Hah! Kidding...

    thanks all im exciting in getting to know all of you.  i am a pink girl so that is the main color but settle, i dont want to overkill it ya know.  but with the wedding colors i have light pinks and then white (fi fave and it is really pretty with the different pinks).  we are going to be getting married in my gram's church and then to a close resort/casino for the reception.  i have always been more of a home body; but i am starting to love taking pics and putting albums together (not attempted a scrapbook yet); i am getting pretty good at baking, fi is the cook; and now i am not crazy but i am also head over heels about my poodle (lucy), she can be a handful but for real is a pretty darn good girl :)
    ohhh and i do like funfetti ;)

    Congratulations and welcome!
    H and I just got married in September on our dating anniversary :) So I approve! hehe :)

    Oh another pink girl.... We have a couple of those around here! Calindi has some pretty awesome pinks/taupes ideas going. (she doesn't seem to be on this weekend, but you'll see her post a lot during the week)
    Glad to hear you're pushing your comfort zone and putting yourself out there more! That's great and difficult to do for a naturally shy person! :)

    Thaaat's right I totally forgot.. Ugh.. Because I'm super envious of her and the Costa Rica-ness... I hope the rain stopped for her and her tripped turns out better than what it was sounding like it was going at first :/ meh.

    We had a black and white wedding, and did pink accents.  We mostly did fushcia, but we used all shades of pink.  I loved our colors and would definitely pick it again if I had to.  I have lots of pics in my bio, but my wedding was over a year ago so maybe my style is outdated now!

    I actually don't like Funfetti the one I had recently at a restaurant was pretty gross. Tasted like it had been sitting in a freezer then thawed out :/ but my sister has made cookies with Funfetti mix that are actually really good. Worth trying for you Funfetti fans

    I made funfetti cupcakes this weekend, then proceeded to eat more of them than I should have. Guess that means the diet is back on starting tomorrow. OP, hi and welcome to the board! I've never really been a pink fan, so I'm not much help... But these ladies are definitely awesome and can have some great ideas! I think the pinks and white sounds pretty!
