DJs

Has anyone used DJ Edge or Soundwaves Entertainment as their DJ? I received a price quote from Mixed Up Productions but I think they are too expensive. I'll take other recommendations for DJs in the Harrisburg area. I contacted DJ Freez but he is booked for my wedding date. Thanks in advance!

We're using Mixed Up Productions and I think they will be worth every cent. They were much cheaper than any DJ here where I live so we thought they were a bargain. We came in and met with them last week and our DJ was very professional and took notes on all of the nit picky things I wanted, haha.

We're using Soundwave Entertainment for our wedding in January. They were recommended by the people at the Valencia Ballroom in York.  Haven't had a meeting yet but through emails they've been great!

MIXED UP PRODUCTIONS!!!!!  You will NOT be disapointed!  They were my DJ at my recent wedding and we LOVED them! We had Mike.   He's the best!  Definitely shop around if you don't feel comfortable with the price.  But really they were worth every cent!!!!

Thanks so much for the advice. We are still considering Mixed Up although Mike will not be doing our wedding. It would be Chris Garrett. Thanks again!

We also used Mixed Up (we had Ronnie) and they were absolutely fantastic!!! We had to book them 2 weeks before the wedding b/c our original DJ disappeared (with our deposit). They were so understanding and wonderful. Ronnie had our guests on the dance floor all night long!!

Just be careful with Soundwaves... my friend used them for her wedding, and met with Chris Pyle over and over to sort out the details.  Her Dad called all the vendors a few days before just to make sure everything was set, and Chris was planning on sending an 18 year old to do her wedding.  Thankfully, her Dad was firm and said NO... we booked YOU not an 18 year old, and he "rearranged" things to make sure he was there.

We used Mixed Up Productions too.  Definitely worth EVERY penny.  Ronnie kept the party going all night long!  If you're uncomfortable with the price, I'd keep shopping around.  But my thought is, sometimes you get what you pay for, so just check on everyone really well!!  Good luck!!

We're using Mr B Entertainment.  We talked to a few different past clients of his who gave rave reviews so we booked him.  Hopefully he won't  let us down!  So far, he's been great!  (the wedding isn't til November though)
