So I was at WalMart looking for a new curling iron (and of course it sucks so I'm gonna return it) and found some Essie nail polish on sale for $3.75. I gave it a try and I'm very disappointed. I feel like it won't dry like it stays damp. And knicks so easily. I'm so disappointed because I love the color I got. Anyone else have this experience? I already had to touch them up

[QUOTE]Maybe that's why it was on sale. I love all of my Essie nail polish and I have at least 10 different colors.

They had a bunch left I think it was maybe a color discontinued or something. I guess I'll just stick to OPI

Yeah I've never had a problem with my OPI ones just didn't feel like spending $8 on Essie when I was unsure of quality. Definitely not getting them again

[QUOTE]I wouldn't write them off because of one bottle that was on sale. I used to only wear OPI, but I honestly prefer Essie now. I just feel like the colors/bottle look nicer.

I like their bottles too that kind of led me to them in the first place but I'm not gonna spend $8 for a product I had bad luck with. I got another bottle on sale too but if neither are good I won't try them again. I'm very big in to brand loyalty. When I find something I like I stick with it. If I have a bad experience with a product I won't try it again

[QUOTE]Lately I've been obsessed with the Sally Hansen nail stickers - they come in tons of fun colors and patterns and they are super easy. There is no drying time at all.

I wanna try those too! They have so many fun colors! I won't do Sally Hansen nail polish anymore because it'd chip so fast and I love OPI

Did you get them both at Walmart? They might produce lesser quality product for Walmart to sell at reduced prices.

[QUOTE]Sometimes the light colors or matte colors tend to scratch more easily and take a long time to dry.

It like feels damp the whole time. The only reason it's staying right now is because I put an opi top coat on :(

Me either. I'm just really annoyed tonight. First the nail polish then my curling iron I bought does not work at all. Hopefully I can return it tomorrow. I know theyre little things but they're irritating nonetheless

<div>The stickers last longer than regular nail polish does for me. They last almost 2 weeks. I can go over a week before they start chipping and I work in shipping where regular nail polish I am lucky if I can get through the day without it chipping. </div>
[QUOTE]WalMart demands lower costs on their end and many companies produce cheaper products so they can meet Walmart's demands. Kraft Foods was almost sunk over a Mac and Cheese deal with WalMart. Though the prices is the same or around the same, it might be a cheaper product on the inside. They essentially force companies to knock off their own goods. Write to Essie or post on their Facebook page. See if they'll send you a new bottle. :)

Love Shellac! I'll be doing fake nails though for the wedding. There's a nail place near me that I absolutely love and they do something to the fake nails that makes them not yellow and things like that when I tan
