Cabo vs Aruba?

We have narrowed it down to Cabo or Aruba

anyone have thoughts regarding which area is better?

Thanks

Re: Cabo vs Aruba?

  • I've never been to Aruba but I have been to Cabo. We went in mid-May of 2010 and had an amazing time. The weather was perfect and it never rained once. We stayed at an AI so we didn't venture out to try any restaurants in the city. They have a fun nightlife if that is what you like. The only downside is there is only a handfull of hotels that allow you to swim in the ocean. Because of its location, the rip tide in the water is too strong so swimming is banned. The pools at the hotels are awesome but if you want to swim on the beach I'd def. research that first and see what hotels actually allow it. We did a few excursions to go snorkeling, booze-cruise, etc. and those were fun.

  • We are going to Aruba.  We are staying at the Tara Beach Suite and the Renaissance hotel.

  • We are going between these two places too! As well as Puerto Vallarta, so I am interested to see these answers. Thanks for asking! :)
  • I have never been to Mexico but just got back from an anniversary trip to Aruba.  It was great.  I have been to Aruba a few times, but H had never been and  he loved it.

I suggest a place on Eagle Beach.  Its the best beach on the island.  White sand, no rocks, and not as crowded.
