Hello ladies! Only 54 days left for me!!!!

THIS PAST WEEK

-Had my hair/makeup trial! It was so much fun and everything she did was perfect. Ready to go! I just need to email her to confirm times/numbers for the day of.

-Had my final meeting with the florist. That's pretty much set. Again, just need to call to schedule the deliveries.

THIS UPCOMING WEEK

-call the photographer on Monday to chat about timeline/payments

-send my "worksheets" to the musicians and the DJ

-keep looking for BM gifts

2 months from today, I'll be a Mrs.! - I'll actually be walking down the aisle in just a few short minutes actually!!

THIS PAST WEEK

-FINALLY got a contract from our caterer, so we are all signed thank God!
-Invitations went out and we got our first RSVPs
-Put a deposit down on our rentals (yay!)
-Had a cake tasting and ordered our wedding cake
-Bought our linens
-Bought frames for our table numbers and some of the filler for our vases (store ran out so we didn't get them all)
...it was a huge week for us!

THIS UPCOMING WEEK

-Tuesday: Dress fitting
-Thursday: Hair & makeup trials
-Work on table numbers
-Order supplies for cocktail hour centerpieces
-Finish buying guest book table stuff
-Figure out the rest of our reception music
-Try to help FILs figure out the RD location

Two months from right now I'll be recovering from the wedding! Ours ends at 4 and then we're having an unofficial after party that evening.

This week:

Had hair trial

Ordered the last vases I needed

Figured out exactly flowers we need to order

Emailed my mother the flower plan

Downloaded and compiled all reception music

Checked our registries for discontinued items

Made alterations appointment

Finished stamping envelopes and rsvps

Ordered table number holders

Discussed logistics with our photographer

Next week:

Mail invitations

First fitting

Buy sash

Pick out new towels for registry (originals had been disc)

Email venue with final selections

Call county clerk to verify documentation needed for officiant

Draft programs

Email family to get a headcount for pre-wedding dinner and post-wedding brunch

Get wrapping paper for favors

Discuss after party guest list

Two months from now, we'll be about to cut the cake! (I think... lol)

This week:

Finished music list for DJ

Finalized ceremony with officiant

Scheduled first fitting (for Tues!!!)

Scheduled hair trial

FInished the stupid furniture

Ordered and received escort cards (will have to write names later)

Finalized bachlorette party date

Next week:

Mail invites! (tomorrow!!! A little later than we wanted, but we're there finally!)

First fitting

Finish stupid timeline (can you tell its my favorite? ugh)

Meet with photog at venue next Sunday

Look into alcohol liability insurance

Keep packing since we move into the new place Sept 1st!!!

This Week/Week before (I don't think I posted last week)-

- Had my bridal shower! (which was wonderful)

- Hair trial

- Assembled and sent invites!!!

- Got first RSVP's back

- Ordered grooms suit (other guys we're just waiting on measurements but everything is picked out and ready to go)

- Bought a bunch of stuff from our registry from credit we got from the shower

- Met with planner/reception venue staff/ceremony venue staff to finalize menu and figure out a bunch of logistical details!

- Decided on favor (Each guest will get a high end chocolate truffle- a brand local to Michigan)

- Started dance lessons

Next week:

- Second dress fitting!

- Try to finalize ceremony music for the quartet

- Look for table number frames

I've been so busy/productive the last couple weeks I think this week is going to be a little bit quieter :P

I think the only major thing I did last week was finish addressing the envelopes. All of my weeks are starting to blur together and the checks are coming so quickly now that I forget when I did them, haha.

This week I'll be sending out the invites (yay!). I also want to order the place cards and RD invites.

- Email DJ song selections
- Work on ceremony
- Work on seating chart
- Finalize RD details
- Parent's Gift....I just can't decide!

I can't believe I have only 40 days to go! I feel like I should be doing more......ah!

this past week:
-had my first fitting! i love it!
-dan had his bachelor party
-scanned all pictures for the slideshow (now need to crop & make the slideshow)
-made glitter champagne flutes for the BM's
-wrapped BM gifts
-made glitter letters of our monogram for the card table
-made signs for the escort & cupcake tables
-printed & folded programs (need to stamp them still)
-got my shower dress in the mail

this coming week:
-my shower/bachelorette weekend!
-work on parent gifts (my dad's specifically)
-get stamps for RD invites
-crop pictures for the slideshow

- finished ceremony music picks/ emailed string quartet

- work on figuring out honeymoon stuff

- track RSVPs

- figure out 1st dance song/ maybe father/ daughter song

- finalize ceremony processional details/ timing

- worked on cake ideas with FMIL (she's making the cake)

This week:

- send FSIL her bridesmaids dress (done!)

- work on guestbook

- figure out programs

- figure out why in the world the post office keeps giving us back the reverend's invitation! (they've done this twice without any explanation!)

- finally my first dress fitting is on Saturday (power outage from a bad storm a few weeks ago forced them to cancel my appointment so I feel way late on this!)

- figure out undergarments/ accessories for me and FI

- remind FI to get the groomsmen's gifts

- figure out what else to get the bridesmaids

- buy thank you cards!

- think about parents' gifts

Design luminary (thank you/memorial/image)

Print last of menus (cootie catchers)
Hair Fascinators (options)
Confirm wine order for reception
