The count down is ON

OK I have less than a month to go, and I just have the worst feeling I am forgetting something.  Every time I go though my lists I have everything checked off, but I am just a little worried.  Anything common that people forget that someone can suggest and maybe put my mind at ease?

I felt like that a bit.  My suggestion would be to run through your day, writing down what you need at each step, writing timelines, writing all your vendor info for emergencies, etc.  If you can map our your day, step by step, then you will remember the little things you may have forgotten.  Get your FI to help you, too, because he needs to know all the stuff he needs to do for the days leading up to it as well!

    Hope that helps! :)

I feel that way now with 2 months to go... I'm just making lists and triple checking everything... It doesn't feel right that I'm all organized and on time (aside from my inviations which are being held up by this stupid strike/lock out)

Same here! I think i have things organized, but i have a feeling i am missing something.

From what i read, some people forgot to assign somebody responsible for the 'clean up' . I think some venues require that you remove all your centerpieces and any decorations you put up, or else they charge for this.

I have a little book where i already started writing everybody's phone numbers such as florist, limo, hair dresser so if anything goes wrong i have their numbers on me to call.

Also like somebody suggested, in a few weeks i'll prepare a schedule kinda thing. I'll write at what time, who needs to do what, what needs to be delivered to the venue and so on.

I'll give the list to my FI, my parents and his parents so we all know what is supposed to be happening. I know i'll be so stressed that if i also have to try and remember things, it'll be a complete disaster.

Hope this helps and remember to breath. lol i keep reminding to myself to do that every 5 minutes :)

If you don't have a day of coordinator/wedding planner, I would assign a friend or family member to make sure the day runs smoothly, I remember having dreams that I ran out of time to do stuff (ex. my hair, nails etc.)...fortunately it was just a dream and didn't really happen!
