We are 5 days out from the wedding and FI's family is driving me BONKERS!
1) FI has 3 sisters, only one of which is married, the other 2 are not in serious relationships. However, with them being FI's sister's I gave them each a date. One, we'll call her J, RSVPed with her (now) ex-husband (long LONG story), and the other (let's call her L) RSVPed with her and "TBA (you never know!)". No big deal I figured I'd ask them when it gets closer to the wedding. I asked J a few days ago who she was coming with and she told me she was coming with Edward. I just got a hold of L to ask her who she is coming with an she says she doesn't really have a date and "J is bringing Gabe". Uhhhhh...no? It wouldn't be unusual for J to change her mind last minute, but don't you think the first person you should tell is me? So, who knows at this point who she's bringing, and as far as I'm concerned her guests card will keep the name she gave me and if she brings someone else she'll have to endure that embarrassment herself. Cause I'm DONE.
2) FI's neice is our flower girl. Since our rehearsal is Friday FI's sister and brother-in-law decided to come Friday and stay the night (they live a little over an hour away), instead of coming up both days (they are driving home after the wedding because FSIL has to work Sunday morning). Well they have a pomeranian and FSIL asked me if I had any suggestions as to where she can leave her dog while they are in town. I have no idea because we are not dog owners, and frankly I'm not a dog person.
FMIL texts me today and says "C can't leave the dog for two days so she has to bring him and the hotel doesn't allow pets, can she leave him at ur house?"
Seriously? Are you freaking kidding me? There's a whole list of reasons I can give as to why this is an asenine suggestion, but I'm too irritated to get into it. I'm pretty sure their precious pomeranian is an inside dog, and the only space i'm offering at this point is my backyard and that's IF they clean up his crap when they're done.
