I had to start this because I'm so upset and need to rant.

I just got yelled at by my boss loud enough for everyone to hear. I am just sitting here, holding back my tears. I am so humiliated. Plus I'm pmsing, so this was really the wrong time for me to be yelled at.

    I'm sorry your day started out like that :( .
    Whenever I feel like breaking into tears at work, I imagine the manliest guy I work with sobbing over the same thing and the silliness of that picture gets me through it and toughens me up.

    I actually have to work all weekend because we have a trial starting Monday.  But we're going to Pappas Bros. Saturday night and staying at the Omni in Las Colinas so that should be fun!

    bdette- How unprofessional!  That sucks.  I'm sorry :(  But that Sheldon song get me every time, too.  I heart Big Bang.

    Steph- I'm older than I'd like to be, too (32 today).  But I always try to remember what my grandpa says... it's better than the alternative ;)

    I have been so busy I haven't been able to do ANYTHING.  That is my B&M.  I am going to try to get back to the simple things in life though (blogging, here, facebook) haha.  :)

    Aww, thanks Jess!  We miss you too!

    My 40th birthday was such a blast.  But there is nothing exciting about this one. 

    I wake up with a sore throat and headache every single day.  Allergies suck.

    Stephie, I hear ya. The pollen has been so bad, it's making my skin itch. Ugh.

    I can't really B&M, though, I had a wonderful weekend. My college friends and I got together over the weekend, and we hadn't all been together in a year and a half. It did my heart good.

    My B&M is that I haven't been on the Knot in FOREVA.  I'm sure that when things slow down for me at work after may 10th, I'll be back in the groove.  I seriously haven't talked to you girls in ages.

    We had a shower at school for one of our teachers getting married in a few weeks while I was out.  They only invited about half of the female staff to that one.  I got an invitation to the shower and the wedding.  We are having another shower later this week.  Again only about half the female staff has been invited including me.  I'm not invited to the wedding though.  In years past, if someone was getting married and they were throwing a shower, the whole staff was invited to the shower.  I don't care that I'm not invited to the wedding but don't invite me to an invitation only wedding shower.

    The battery in the smoke alarm in our bedroom was low and started beeping at 1:30 AM last night every 5 seconds.  The ceilings in our bedroom are really high (9 feet I think), and it took David about 10 minutes to find a chair that was tall enough to reach the smoke detector.

    I had Brad's jeans hanging from the shower curtain yesterday to dry and I left them there over night (because I'm a lazy bum). In the middle of the night, we heard a big crash. I tapped Brad and asked him what it was. He sat up, looked outside and says "I don't see shadows outside, go back to sleep" and he did! Come to find out, the shower curtain couldn't take the weight and fell into the tub. But it's great to know how worried dear hubby was! Tongue out

    I second ppl on the allergies - they suck!!!!!!! I'm just flat tired....tired of moving, tired of unpacking, and tired of sitting in the office.

    bdette - sorry about your mean old boss! I've had days like that too...think happy thoughts and just imagine how unhappy a person like that must be to yell at someone else in that manner - what a shame!

    My B&M:

    Why in the world do people on Craig's List try to rape your wallet for a purchase?  I can see negotiating maybe $20 - $50 depending on price -- but over a hundred?  Sheesh people!

    Does anyone need a kitchen table and 4 chairs?  ;)

    Bdette--that same shower curtain thing happened to me a couple months ago.  FI and I woke up terrified out of a sound sleep.  Then he was mad at me for not having any sort of weapon in my bedroom (WTF?!?!??!) so I gave him my giant scissors out of my sewing basket to go investigate.

    awilkins - that is too funny! Brad actually has a gun that he keeps in a little safe thing under the bed on his side. I won't touch that thing, which is why it's on his side of the bed. I love the scissors though! Hey, they could do some damage for sure!

    OK - I know that my B&M is a little late... but I come home from work today, check the mail, and there are TWO (not one - TWO) red-light tickets in there for me.  :(   One in Southlake, one in Plano.  They both got me when I was turning right, and I didn't pause for a full two seconds.  Ugh.  What a day.
