I'm graduating, it hasn't happened yet but one week from today is my graduation! Woo!

What major events are you looking forward to in 2012?
I'm really excited to start grad school and move up to Greeley. I feel like it will sort of a fresh start for me and I really need that right now.

Right now I'm unemployed. But the job hunt begins after finals week is done.

I'm going to focus really hard on losing weight. I want to lose about 70 lbs so I need to fix my diet and get my butt to the gym!

Hopefully BF and I will be getting engaged in 2012. BF has already said he knows when he is going to do it, I'm guessing it will be the later half of 2012 though.

I'm also predicting that in general it will be a good year. This year wasn't so much but next year will be better.

Fun, it'll be kind of like a mini time capsule! Sorry, I'm feeling especially dorky today...

What big changes occurred in 2011?
I quit my full-time job and started my Master's 5000km away from where I grew up. I'm attempting to follow my dream of being a professional opera singer.

What major events are you looking forward to in 2012?
More school....? Nothing major on the horizon.

How many children or buns in the oven?
No babies, thankfully. I don't think I could deal with school and kids running around!

Where do you live?
BF and I live on the West Coast of Canada while I'm going to school. He made the move out here with me last summer before I started school.

What is your job?
Currently I'm a full-time student. I didn't work this term as my program has very strange schedules, and I wanted to get a feel for it. I'm hoping to work in our costume department, building costumes for the shows we put on each year. My previous job was supporting young adults with intellectual disabilities.

What is BF/FI/DH's job?
He's a web developer. Most other details of it go over my head.

How many furbabies/names?
Just the ones our parents have for the moment. We would really, really like to get a dog (chocolate or liver &white English or American cocker or English springer spaniel), but our lease, budget, and schedules don't allow for it right now. Ideally we have talked about having 2 spaniels once we have a house with enough space for them.

What goal are you working towards?
I'm working towards accepting my body, loving it as is, but also getting healthy. I've spent too long being focused on getting thin over being healthy, and it just doesn't work. Also, I'm working towards feeling more comfortable with self-promotion when it comes to my singing. I'm really bad at it, and in my chosen field, you'll go nowhere without that skill. Looking at both of those, it really seems like I'm working on building my self-esteem.

Any predictions for a NEYer for 2012?
I'm so out of touch with my intuition it's not even funny.

Any predictions for yourself for 2012?
See above, haha. I'm hoping that I can get up the nerve to compete in some big competitions next year and get my name (and voice) out there on the radar. Beyond that, I have no idea.

What major events are you looking forward to in 2012? Crossing my fingers for an engagement and perhaps a marriage. Non-relationship, I'm going to be working on getting my OCN (oncology-certified nurse).

How many children or buns in the oven? lol, zero.

Where do you live? East Nashville, Tennessee.

What is your job? Cancer research nurse.

What is BF/FI/DH's job? IT support for a large corporation.

How many furbabies/names? Two. Our Golden Retriever is named Bellamy and our Llewellin Setter is named Zoë.

What goal are you working towards? Getting my OCN is a big one, but I'm also making a goal of carefully planning vacations on a regular basis for mental health reasons. I'm trying to be very nurturing toward my mind.

I moved in with FI, I started working from home, I developed some kind of bladder problem, I got to meet FFIL for the first time in Colorado and we got engaged.
What major events are you looking forward to in 2012?
Getting married and possibly finding a house to move in to.

This year I started out living with my parents in NW Ohio and then moved in with FI about an hour SE.

At home translator/coder for surveys (mostly Ford, Nissan and American Express)

What big changes occurred in 2011?

Mostly, I left my job with the judge in early January. Thank goodness. A late-year change is that my parentals are moving/have moved 45 minutes away. No more last-minute awesome mom dinners.

What major events are you looking forward to in 2012?

And throw on a Latin teaching job for me too... And I want to attend the Latin immersion camp. I'm looking forward to those things--and I think I'm going to apply for graduate school (you know, MORE graduate school) to work toward an Ed.D., basically a Ph.D. for education people. You know, because I'm crazy.

What is your job?

I work for a testing company writing items for the state reading assessments. I love it. I'm actually really sad about leaving everyone, but I really want to teach, so I'll have to leave them here soon.

Graduate from Ph.D. to get employed so we can have babies. That's what I call his job though, he'd probably have a more formal name for it.

How many furbabies/names?

A dog and two cats... they're adorable. Lorrie is the dog; Trouble and Mischief are the well-named cats.

What goal are you working towards?

Secure employment as a Bad Arse Latin teacher. Learn to speak Latin. Beat BF on the challenge and lose more weight than I thought I could (ONLY if it's healthy!).

What big changes occurred in 2011? I went back to school to do a second degree
What major events are you looking forward to in 2012? Hopefully a proposal and possibly a wedding, depending on when said proposal occurs. Also my bf and I are planning a trip to Toronto to see the Grey Cup (Canadian equivalent of the Super Bowl) and hopefully our team will win it!
How many children or buns in the oven? 0 on both counts and hopefully it will stay that way in 2012. I don't want to have a bun in the oven until I'm done (or almost done) my current degree.

What is your job? Right now I'm a customer service and sales person for an insurance company. But I mainly deal with clients by e-mail now. Which is way better than dealing with them on the phone. I'm hoping that next year I'll be doing something else though...
What is BF/FI/DH's job? He's an internal auditor. It's a kick ass job. He never has to work odd hours or overtime. He does have to go a way for 1-2 weeks a year, which is fine. Maybe once we're married, if he gets to go somewhere cool I can tag along. His company does have an office and an apartment in Puerto Rico... Oh and he gets paid well. Well enough that I could quit my job and he'd be able to support both of us comfortably. But that ain't happening, cuz I'd lose my mind.

Oh fun! I love this stuff.

What big changes occurred in 2011? BF and I got very serious, started dating long distance in June after 8 months of seeing each other every day. When he got into grad school we started making plans for me to move there as well.

What major events are you looking forward to in 2012? I'm moving to MA in early January and am hoping to get a job (probably multiple part time jobs) ASAP.

How many children or buns in the oven? None, and none for a long time I hope! haha

What is your job? full time undergraduate student, graduating with a music education and vocal performance degree in 2 weeks! I'm certified in MA and will begin looking for teaching jobs as soon as I'm done with student teaching.

What is BF/FI/DH's job? full time graduate student. He also is the Baritone soloist at a local church and picks up singing gigs whenever he can.

How many furbabies/names? no furbabies. BF has an adorable dog named Cole though at home!

I moved into my own apartment, got my first furbaby, fell head over heels in love with my high school sweetheart, got a promotion.

What major events are you looking forward to in 2012?
BF & I buying a fifth wheel camper for the summer, hmaybe being named an Assistant Athletic Director sometime in the spring/summer.

I got a permanent job after leaving a job that caused an injury, the pain of which I still feel. FI found a job in a field he is actually excited about and he takes pride in.

Honestly, not much. I finally realized that I shouldn't live life to please others, but rather to please myself. So that was extremely freeing and its a great feeling!

Rocking my DAT (dental admissions test), moving in with BF, maybe BF becoming a FI?
