    No minimum, but w/the caterer we went with, I think they can change the price per person if it's too high/low from the estimate.

    We are at the Marriott. For a plated dinner the cheapest option is $35/pp which after tax and gratuity I think it comes to about $43/pp. We are having more options than just chicken, but that is their minimum price. For alcohol...of course you don't have to get any, but for a keg of beer I believe it is about $400. We are just doing beer, wine and soda, we figured its about $2,200 for about 200-225 people.

    I avoided a venue/caterer that required that.
