Registry Vow

Ok, girls I have been a major registry stalker. Up until.....tomorrow. My showers are August 5th and 11th and I would truly like to be surprised at them. Therefore, I am vowing not to look at my registry until AFTER the showers as of tomorrow.

Mine are Aug. 12th and 25th so there's not much off our registries yet, but I'll stop checking!! Amazon not only shows you what's bought but WHO bought it. I saw that today by accident and it sort of turned me off from checking anymore. I don't want to know yet!!

You guys are stronger than I am! I'm addicted to stalking my registry (my shower is Aug 11)! Then again, I was always the kid who went searching for her Christmas presents when my Mom wasn't home! I'm not very good with surprises...at all LOL!

I just want you all to know....This is going to be INCREADIBLY hard for me. I just want to me totally taken by surprise on what I receive and who got me what at the party. I feel like if I keep looking I'll get greedy or something because I'm not getting enough. Which would be literally ridiculous.

I'm glad more than just me are in for this though! Thanks girls!

We are registering on Monday and I already know I am going to peek... I can't help it! Agree with PP about searching for Christmas presents when mom wasn't home - I think everyone used to do that!!

HA! That was me, too! It continues today...

I look occasionally (too often) since I "need to make sure nothing is out of stock or discontinued!" My shower isn't until Sept 22. Probably the latest of all of you! When you're talking about your lovely new dishes and sheets, I'll try hard not to check out our registry! :)

I've been really good about not checking my registry so I'll take the vow too! However, I really really want to look lol. I have accidentally figured out that my shower is August 19 so it's going to be really tough to wait until then.

good luck ladies! I am not gonna lie to you and tell you i will join you in this pact! lol I JUST CANT DO IT!!!! my shower isnt till Sept 29th so hardly anything is purchased already and they keep discouninuing things on my macys registry! i already had to pick new eveyday dishes and many other things! but you know what this post reminds me i have to go check it now!!! lol

I have only looked twice and nothing has been bought. No showers are currently planned but appearantly FI's church will give us one in September after they do one for another couple getting married I think a week before us. My MOH I think is planning one but I haven't gotten her a list together...well its together but she doesn't have it.

I should probably do this too. My shower is Aug 4th so just a litte over a week. It's so hard though because the first things just got purchased yesterday.
