Videographer Reccs?

Hi everyone!

We are getting married in Providence and looking for a videographer for January. Someone under 2000 with 2 shooters. The mass is the most important thing for us so someone who can do a nicely edited, full mass. This is hard to tell just looking at highlight vids, which are nice, but not what's most important to us, so if anyone else has been really happy with their full ceremony coverage, please let me know! We've looked at Mike Picard and he's nice, and also David Bettencourt (weren't a fan of his bc of sound issues during the mass/ceremonies).

Any reccomendations would be awesome!

Thanks!

While I haven't seen my entire video yet, we used John from Wedding Stories and I am really happy with what I've seen so far.  Based on my experience with him, I'm sure he would be willing to focus on whatever part of the day is most important to you and make a video that will suit your needs.

Our photographer recommended Fresh Focus Productions to us.  We are looking for a similar package as you and I really wanted someone that would stay in the background.  GL!

Another vote for John From Wedding Stories!  I LOVE him!  I know what you mean about sound issues.  John has a video on his blog of a Regatta Place ceremony and their ceremony was on a windy pier.  I was really impressed that you could actually hear the vows very clearly.  (The bride's name is Meredith.  It's down a few entries on his blog)  That's really hard to get such great sound in a situation like that and John pulled it off.

thanks everyone, will check these out! it's interesting to hear the good reviews for John from Wedding Stories bc I remember problems with him on the board last year, so it seems that's resolved!

We used Vacilando.  The bulk of our video is the ceremony (it was very similar to a Catholic ceremony), but Will and Miraj got all the best parts of the day: getting ready, formal pics, speeches, dancing, etc.  They also edited out us seeing each other before the ceremony on our parents' video so we had something special just for us on our copy.  They were very easy to work with, and they should be able to work easily with your budget.
