Meanings behind a Catholic Mass

Hello!  My name is Renee and I am having a full Catholic mass for my wedding.

Although we come from big Catholic families, I will have some non-Catholics at my wedding.  I went to my a Jewish wedding 2 years ago, and the B&G included an explanation about various aspects of the ceremony in their program.  I loved having a better understanding of their ceremony and traditions and I want to do something similar for my programs.

I found a website a while back and I can't seem to find it again.

Any advice on which aspects of the ceremony to highlight or good websites for descriptions of their importance would be great.

TIA!  and congrats on your engagements!

OP - I wore the same dress for my wedding just last month. It is beautiful, I still love it. I received so many compliments on how stunning I looked. There are some pics in my married bio. It is a great dress!

really, IMO, the whole Mass is important, but obviously the consecration is the most important and then of course, the receipt of the sacraments (marriage and eucharist).  id probably explain somethign about how you give each other the sacrament of marriage, and then the meaning behind the consecration and the true presence in the host.

No you mean the meaning of the term "mass" or the Nuptial Mass.

I think most Catholics know why it is termed "mass".

More details, if you have a sec
