Does anybody have any insight or feedback into Muriel's as a reception site?

    My sister is planning her wedding and reception at Muriel's in April. So far, they've been great to work with. I was pleasantly surprised at their menu and bar package prices (for an afternoon event).

    I've never had a meal there, but I hear wonderful things.

    I can offer more after my sister's wedding in April! Good luck!

    I've been to a luncheon there. The food and service were both great. It  is a beautiful venue.

    I CANNOT say enough wonderful things about Muriel's. They are absolutely wonderful, and just go above and beyond for their brides.

    ETA: Plus, I can't think of a better place picture-wise. Our engagement photos were taken on their balcony and second floor and they were some of our favorite pictures out of everything.

    I'm having my rehearsal dinner there on 3/25 so I won't know for sure until then, but we go there every Christmas for dinner and the food is delicious.  My future MIL has been working with them and has only had good things to say.  I will let you know how it goes if you would like!

    I'm having my ceremony and reception there next month and have nothing but great things to say about Liz, the party planner we've been working with. Granted its pricey, but I think its worth every penny.  A friend of mine had her reception there last year and it was wonderful. Great food, great atmosphere. I'll repost after my wedding to let you know how it goes!

    Our rehearsal dinner was perfect!  It was reception style so we had a couple of stations set up.  All everyone could talk about was the great food, the beautiful view, and the great New Orleans experience they had!  I would seriously consider using them.  If you can go for a tasting you will be sold!  Plus, it's charming and you don't have to do much decorating.  Have you decided anything yet?

    Thanks girls!  No, I haven't decided yet.  Muriel's and The Wax are at the top of my list right now.  I haven't set a date yet (late summer or fall 2012), so I have still have some time.  Glad to know Muriel's should be on the short list.

    We are having our reception there in October and I can't wait!  The food is delicioius, the people are super nice and you can't beat the ambiance... it's truly a beautiful space!!
