  It's a GREAT idea! I got mine for EIGHTEEN DOLLARS! You guessed it - Etsy! I got it from seller Romancingtheveil and it's perfect. The Etsy sellers are pretty good about posting enough pics that you can get the idea of how the veil fits and whatnot. They'll also do custom veils if you want something special. Go look - NOW!

  Just to throw it out there, I got mine custom made at The Sewing Studio in Maitland for $28. It looks as good as the several hundred dollar ones I tried on at The Collection, etc.

  I bought my drop veil on ebay and my bead-edged reception veil from obridal.com. Loved both of them and SO much cheaper than the veils I saw in stores. The same drop veil at Solutions was like two or three hundred dollars I think. Crazy!

  I bought mine on Ebay from seller Venus Veils.  For 2 tier fingertip length with beaded edge and metal comb it only cost me $18 i think, plus they had free shipping.  It was perfect and well made and I'm glad I didn't spend a fortune on one.

  I guess I'm OCD, but I really liked being able to try it on before I bought. Some veils I thought I liked ended up being annoying after 10 mins of wearing it or looiking different on me than what I expected. I would just make sure that you had an accurate picture and idea of what it would look like on before going forward...but if you can, go for it! GL!

  I found a veil on Ebay that was similar to one I fell in love with at the bridal store.  The veil in the store was around $300, the one on Ebay was around $20.  Definitely a good idea!
