Our shower was saturday, so I need to finish up our Thank you cards and get them in the mail. I need to order the flower girl baskets. I think thats about it. This weekend we are going to look at Limos and put the deposit down. Oh! and stalk our mailbox for more RSVP's!

Waiting to hear back from the officiate, chair covers and hair/make-up. I am slowly contacting all of the vendors to go over day of plans so I can put the day of schedule together. I also have to schedule my hair trial and our manis and pedis.

Our invitations went out last week and although it is to soon to start mailbox stalking I will of course be doing it!

I've got to finish up a few more thank yous from a shower I had in Nebraska over the weekend. Otherwise, the usual stuff: timeline (at least I started that!) and send things to the day-of stationary person. Also have a big weekend lined up with a hair trial, florist meeting, and second dress fitting.

ETA: Most importantly, I need to fill out my MM Brackets! Thanks, Liz, for the reminder :-)

We are meeting with an officiant tonight and I need to call our potential dj tonight to get that nailed down. Also I need to order STDs and get those mailed out before its too late. NWR counting down to our mini getaway to Oscoda on the 23 and 24!

WR: Address invites now that I have envelopes, call my uncle (our cake baker) to discuss flavors, and work on pomanders more.

Currently waiting to hear back from the hotel for our honeymoon...so close to it being OFFICIAL..I can't wait! Once the dates are set in stone, we'll be booking the flights.

Need to send back my shoes that came in..they sent the wrong size (of course) after I already had to change my order since they were discontinued.

FI and I are headed up to MI this weekend. We're going out to dinner with both of our parents and hopefully setting the menu for the rehearsal dinner. On Saturday I get to try on my dress finally!!! I haven't seen it since I bought it in JULY. Hopefully I will be able to figure out veil/earrings/hair stuff.

If we're feeling crazy we might put together our ceremony or start addressing invites!

And of course, lots of basketball!

I'll be getting together with my cousin to work on our wrap around labels. Then over the weekend I will be spending a day putting all the finishing touches on my invites like stamping flowers, embossing a T and stuffing them.

I also have to make an appointment and get my passport.

Finally made some DIY progress this weekend! A couple of friends came over and my sister was visiting, so my sister worked on some origami paper flowers for me (she made like 30 of them! All I have left to do is actually hot glue them together), and my friends and I worked on bookbinding (I'm making my own guest book from scratch). I should be able to finish up the book with only another 2 or so hours of time and then I'll be able to check that off!

Invitation design is getting closer to where it needs to be. After all my art deco research I finally narrowed down stylistically how I want my invites to look, so now I just have to draw it all out and put the wording in place.

Finally figured out who I'm going to book to do my hair on the day-of. Have to sign that contract and get it back to her (decided on Posh Studio from a recommendation of Tammara's)

And hopefully this week FI will book tastings for the caterer's we're looking at!

Apply for a new passport since my name changed (FYI: For those that do not have a passport but plan to get one for their HM, it is free to change your name within the first year of getting it!)

Buy a birthday gift for the boy I nanny, he'll be 4 on Friday!

And looking forward to DH's birthday on Saturday!!

We get married this Saturday!! Woot!! So excited!!

So going to be a busy week.
- Buy more moss to cut the last of the pieces for under the centerpieces.
- Drop of final payment to hall
- FI pick up his Prince Charlie Jacket and vest
- Get my ring cleaned and polished
- Stop at the bank to get cash for tips.
- Mani and Pedi on Friday
- Pack Car with everything

Plus I am sure there are things on my written list at home that I am not remembering at this moment!

But so excited!!

I found my dress this weekend which was very exciting! I went to David's and had a lovely experience and found a dress I loved and super affordable - way BELOW my budget Woo Hoo!

This week I need to get STDs ordered. Still working on collecting addresses and waiting to hear back from an offciant I contacted. Also I begin a new job next Monday and I can't wait!

Congrats on your dress hjewell!! I found mine at David's Bridal this weekend too...I could not believe how cheap it was!

WR - This week on the hunt for DJ and Florist. Any suggestions? We are looking for a DJ that basically needs to introduce us and play music, nothing too special and of course looking for inexpensive, the reception in in Dearborn. And for the florist, just someone good in the metro Detroit area. Still need to get going on STD's.

NWR - We opened up a can of worms with the furniture for the house over the weekend...found an amazing company. So we will be scrapping the original furniture and selecting new.

I'm using Dynamic Flowers in Royal Oak. Then for a DJ I am using is Andy from <a href="http://www.thearmyofgoodmusic.com/" rel="nofollow">www.thearmyofgoodmusic.com</a>. he is extremely reasonable.

Today I bought two tops and some jeans with my birthday money and will use them for my weekend getaway with Dan in two weeks!

Tomorrow I have an echo and doppler - not really excited about that.
