So annoyed with vendor...RANT

Yesterday I got an email from the lady that will be doing my hair telling me she ran into a scheduling snag and wants to be finished with me now at 10:00am and means my mom and MOH will have to be done even earlier.  She didn't say it's definite and basically asked if it would be okay to change.  The ceremony is not until 3:30 although we are doing pics first.  I gave her my deposit back in December and specified to be finished with hair at noon at the latest.  She told me during my consult with her (more money spent) that noon may even be too early to be done.  Now she wants to change to 10!?!?  I had to sign a contract for her, but I don't have anything in writing from her besides emails.  My wedding is in June, so I'm worried now about having to find someone else.  Being done 10:00 just seems like so early though even with first look pics, and the others might not want to wait around all day in updos.  I told her that I wasn't happy about it and didn't say I was willing to change.  I told her that I thought my deposit back in December secured my time.  She hasn't written back.  I really like her, she has great reviews online, and people on here have mentioned her positively many times.  I'm so confused on if this is a normal thing or not or if I'm overreacting!

    If you guys already discussed a time, she can't really change it now. It sounds like she double booked, which is her own fault. Just tell her that if she can't do it when you agreed, you need your money back so you can get another person. Emails count as "in writing", so you always have those if you need to prove anything. There are plenty of hair people out there, so I'm sure you can find somebody else if need be.

    I'd give her a call if she doesn't respond in a few days. And, I agree with pp, if she can't fulfill the obligation she already has with you, then you would like all of your money back, and let her know you'll be posting some bad reviews for her professionalism. These vendors usually know a bad review can do a lot of damage to their reputation and in turn, how many people won't be contacting them.
