STD conundrum & mini freak out

I had my first wedding mini melt-down this morning. Tell me I'm not alone in over-reacting to things that in my normal life (read: pre-engagement) were not a big deal?

I hand-made my STD's. Since we are inviting half of the USA, I am about 40 short. No problem, I thought, I will spend Sunday making more.

But I could not find the computer file ANYWHERE. It disappeared. Gone. 

Enter mini melt-down.

After a phone call with my mom (who is ridiculously level headed), I decided on joint Christmas/STD cards for the extra 40. It is too much to re-create the computer file AND cut, emboss, glue, yadda yadda.

So, it's "deck the halls and save the date" for the additional 40. And my sanity is spared.

    You don't have to send a STD to everyone!

    I'm glad you came up with an alternate plan that saved your sanity, though :)

    We didn't send an STD to everyone...we were 40 short on the "critical" list.  Did I mention we have 180 aunts, uncles and cousins between us? 

    But yes, I'm also glad to have my sanity in tact...for now!
