In need of a baker

Im looking for a local baker who is licensed to make my cake.. does anyone have any suggestions? Im in south east CT.. I had someone in mind but shes not licensed so now Im back to square one. TIA

    I'm using Creative Cakes By Donna in Haddam. I just met with her last weekend - her cake is delicious (I tried a few bakers and hers tasted the best to me) and she has beautiful designs. I'm pretty sure she is popular with a bunch of other CT knotties...she has a great reputation. www.cakesbydonna.com

    A lot of people on the boards love Creative Cakes by Donna. I'm using Coffee's Country Market in Old Lyme. I've also heard good things about Mystic Market East and Felicia's Sweetface Pastry Shoppe

    Our wedding cake is included in the package offered by our venue but I was at the bridal show at Avon Old Farms last weekend and tried some of the cake from Creative Cakes by Donna and it was delicious!

    I'm using DiMare's Pastry Shop in Stamford, they also have a shop in Greenwich.  Their cakes are awsome and Tim does an amazing job decorating them.  I love them because they are family owned shop that has been around for years.  My family and friends have used them many, many times.
