Wedding Dresses

Hello,

I need some help. I have just come back from overseas and need to find a wedding dress ASAP. I am looking for a good store in the Toronto or Peterborough area that sells nice affordable dresses. I also need to find a shop that can do alterations quickly because my wedding is in 80 days. Thanks for your help.

    Hmm, if you have 80 days you will probably have to wear a sample gown, instead of ordering one. You may have time to order a white/ivory bridesmaid's dress, mine came in in 8 weeks.
    I would call around and ask stores what size samples they have.

    yeah you'll probably have to buy a sample gown. i haven't been yet but if you want something affordable try orfus road. some stores there are your white dress, ballet's outlet, and windsor bridal. i don't know if those places are any good though. i've been to bridal fashion fraire and bridals on spadina and both those places had affordable dresses and they had sample gowns too. maybe check out becker's bride and the dress room on the danforth too.

    I second the Dress Room and Becker's - the Dress Room is more affordable but my dress is a sample that I bought from Becker's for a great price.

    Agreed, the Dress Room and Beckers are both great, there is a place called best for bride, if you google it i think there is a place downtown toronto, nice dresses off the rack!

    I bought my dress at Fayes in Peterborough. They were very helpfull, I ended up buying a sample for way less and they do all the repairs to the beading etc.. Good Luck

    go to brides by tara or blushing brides in Peterborough, i'm a wedding planner in the area and they are my favourites! i bought my dress from blushing brides, talk to sharon, or tara/ rista at brides by tara
