I am wanting to wrap all the bridal party gifts in bags that are my wedding colors, so pink bags for the BMs with black tissue paper and black bags for the GMs with pink tissue paper. Is this too much? If so, how did any of you wrap the bridal party gifts?

I don't think it's too much. It sounds fine. Honestly, as a BM or GM, they might not even make the connection that it's your wedding colors. If they do, they're getting a gift so I don't think they'll mind.

I don't think it is too much, but like PP said they probably won't even make the connection. For my BMs I wrapped their presets in zebra print paper with a big hot pink bow. For the GMs we just did dark blue bags with green tissue paper. And none of our wrapping matched anything in our wedding.

We got so busy in the last week of the wedding, we totally forgot to wrap the gifts- doh! But I think what you have planned sounds fine and not over-the-top at all.

I'll be honest, I went with whatever wrapping paper was cheapest and gender-appropriate at Target, but I'm just not into wrapping things in general. I think this is a cute idea, and you have to wrap the gifts regardless, so if you want to wrap them this way, go for it.
