  I dunno- Im Polish and we just have one wedding day and all my Polish relatives have done the same thing, but maybe in some parts of Poland they do it differently?

  That used to be big in the old days...but not so much anymore. I guess it depends on the couple. I am Polish and our family doesn't have 3 day weddings, nor did my family friends (had a very Polish wedding, a lot of it was even in Polish) who were married a year ago. I believe the reason is because they have the wedding and then the bride's family hosts a party and then the groom's family hosts another party - which would be three days of partying (pretty sure that's what my Grandmother once told me how they used to do Polish weddings and she's from Poland). But I don't think it's very common anymore.

  Fi's family is polish and keeps saying it will be a 3 day party... If they want to party for 3 days they can, but I'm not.  I am going the rehearsal dinner and sunday brunch as their 3 days haha.

  Yea from what i was told today the grooms family will be having a party friday then the wedding sat then the brides family sunday oi vey
