Whenever I'm feeling any stress about the wedding and worrying about things going right (like tonight, I've been dividing up all our wedding stuff into two suitcases because I am so worried one is going to be lost, it's just a feeling and paranoia I have all of the sudden) I head over the Bobbi + Mike blog and I look at this post:

Man does that make all of my problems seem so small and not important at all! My favorite part of that post is their first dance and how happy they still look even though their wedding was literally in shambles. It shows that, at least for them (and I'd hope for myself) that even disaster won't ruin the wedding, we'll make it work!
My parents wedding was almost destroyed my a tornado, too. 2 weeks before their ceremony most of their Iowa town, including their home, was destroyed. Their church was damaged, the reception venue, caterer, and bakery were completely destroyed. But they went forward and ended up having a great wedding, My Mom was a home ec teacher so her students all got together and took care of all of the food and the cake. Sure, they toasted with styrofoam cups since all of the toasting flutes were destroyed, but otherwise you'd never know what had happened. And miraculously, neither of them were home when the tornado hit and weren't injured in any way! My Mom LOVES pointing that out! But she has a point. Even if everything gets destroyed today I have enough people surrounding me who will do everything in their power to make it all work.

I believe in a lot of things. I believe in fresh tennis balls, the healing power of bunnies, and that the novels of Susan Sontag are something I'll never read. In fact, I don't even know who Susan Sontag is. What is she... like... a painter? I believe in Crystal Lite because I believe in ME. I believe in the movies of Val Kilmer, though these days it ain't so easy. I believe in Darren Sproles, the word "dabble", the first season of "Silk Stockings", and big, warm, moist, gooey chocolate chip cookies that melt in your mouth and all over your face.
