    - Spoke with a few DJs and strings group, and am very close to putting a deposit down on one of each
    - Researched shuttles for guest transportation before and after the event - talk about sticker shock
    - Made an appointment to try on dresses in August (my first time!)
    - Began thinking about rehearsal dinner locations (Belhurst? Geneva on the Lake?)
    - Scoped out a location for my in-laws to stay and for guests to stop by Friday evening and Sunday morning (thanks to smclardy for suggesting the William Smith Inn)

Go Chelsea, you have been a busy bee.

All I did this week was pick out shoes.  Ugh, need to get moving.

I finished my shower thank you notes -- hooray that that's over!

I ordered my earrings -- hopefully they will look perfect in person.  Have been scouting out for other jewelry too, but want to get the earrings first and go from there.

Other than that, I haven't done too much.  I need to get going on a few DIY projects.

Hmm.. I have such a horrible memory!

-Met with florist (my aunt!) and figured out flowers. AKA I showed her some pictures, and walked thru the store pointing to what I do and don't like!
-Booked rehearsal dinner & picked out food
-Made some things for the reception (box for photobooth photos, sign for welcome table)
-Made reserved signs for ceremony for parents/grandparents
-Bought vouchures for mani/pedis for myself, moms, and my aunt
-Bought jars for candles for ceremony
-Helped my mom pick out her dress (I actually picked the one she got!)

That's all I can think of ... ALMOST DONE!!

UGH. I sometimes walk to the mailbox 3 times before it gets here (it's kind of a far walk to ours and the mailman doesn't drive by our house so I never know!!) And I always get so excited to get the mail, but we haven't gotten any RSVPs in a week or so! This game is NOT fun! lol

Nice job ladies!  I haven't done much, except look at invitations lol.

Chelsea, we booked Finger Lakes Limo for a guest shuttle from Ventosa to the Ramada Inn.  It cost $170 for 9pm to 12am coverage.  I might actually ask to change the hours to 8pm to 11pm though, I don't think we'll be there til midnight.  Not sure how this compares with prices you've been quoted, good luck!

    Hi Everyone!
I'm kate and just joining the knot. Today I booked my venue (the Fenimore in Cooperstown) for May 19th and photographer. I want to do everything all at once and yet nothing at all! It is very overwhelming! This lovely webpage tells me I have like 180 things to do and 27 of the over due. Yikes! I'd better get on it!

Oh I also worked on our save the date!

had a make up trial, setting up hair trial, and first fitting is scheduled for next week.

    Busy!

Welcome Kate!  Congrats on booking your venue and photog!  Huge checks!!  Oh, that checklist, I manually change the dates for things all the time just so they're aren't overdue.  :-)

Chelsea, another limo company you might want to check out is Aristocrat Wine Tours. He is relatively new to the business, so he is willing to make great deals on his prices so he can gain some exposure. We booked 6 hours with him for $450, and that is including tax and gratuity.

Hi everyone!  I'm Amanda and my FI is Jason.  Now that we are down to less than 60 days I guess I can stop being a lurker and say hi.  I've posted here and there on the upstate board but you girls are so much chattier!  Jason and I are getting married Sept 17th at Sonnenberg in Canandaigua.  We met through mutual friends 3 or so years ago and well here we are today getting married in 59 days.

    - My dress is in and fitting is next Wednesday
    - Bridal shower is Saturday
    - And set up tent rental and caterer for rehersal dinner
